My Fiancee interviewed successfully on Wed but was missing her passport police certificate. She will hand that off along with her passport on MON.

If I understand they then send the missing document with her passport back to embassy for entry into her file and final review/acceptance. Does my understanding seem accurate?

What kind of time frame do you think we're looking AT? Thanks in advance

Dear Jason:

I can not give you a timeframe. They will review the missing document and add it to the file. It sounds to me like with the exception of the missing police clearance the interview was a success.

Please be aware there is process that happens AFTER the interview. It is called ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING. This is where approved cases have to undergo a series of security checks by the Department of State/FBI/CIA. It can delay the visa issuance by days/weeks/months.

The Consulate Officer will issue a 221(g) with the notation "Administrative Processing." If you wife receives this that is in reference to the security checks.

Don't worry, you are 99% through the process of getting the visa.

Congratulations! :star:
