 Hi Guys, My Fiance hired a lawyer to manage our application for my K1 Visa. On the I-129F he mis spelled my middle name written in NARIZIA instead of NARCIZA. My Fiance over looked on it too and sign the papers. Now i got an appointment letter from the USEM and its how it is spelled there. I already pass my medical exam last June 20 and now Im scheduled for my interview on July 11. Will this be a big touble for my application? I already paid the delbros for document verification and they might look for my wrong name there just because of this error. Pls i need ur advise. I am so worried! Edited by rlynvince

:time: It will be a lot easier for others to help you. ;)

If you can, contact the USEM and just let them know and ease your worries. Be sure to confirm it's corrected when you're at your interview.

good luck.

Make sure you fill out the application materials (DS-156, etc...) correctly .... The visa will be issued in the name as it is spelled in your passport.... You will want to have the USEM make all needed corrections to the petition information as requred. I misspelled my son's first name (Russian vs. Ukrainian transliteration) on the petition and had no problems whatsoever.

YMMV
