Need to know if "Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract to Marriage" can be applied for and received at the same time. The hours at American Citizens Service are very short for this certificate. Would like to leave on flight to Zamboanga at 3:30 pm same day.

Took me about 10 minutes to get mine. Hours then were 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

Be careful in Zamboanga. Bad guys have been active there lately!

We got there in the embassy around 7:30 Am and we got our Legeal Capacity after 20 mins.

My son named Zac

06.19.2010 - papers arrived at Chicago lockbox

06.24.2010 - Check cashed

06.28.2010 - NOA1 Hardcopy received (9 days from the day they got our papers)

07.05.2010 - Received Biometrics Schedule (July 26)

08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.07.2010 - Applied for SSN

09.14.2010 - SSN Card received

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

09.20.2010 - Welcome Notice Received ("Welcome to the USA")

09.25.2010 - 10 yr Green Card received! (98 days)

u just have to be at the embassy really early u will get it in 10 minutes like what happened to ours. good luck

Just be there an hour early before they open..I remembered, we spent 20 mins to get our legal capacity..Just tell the securities there that you need to get your legal capacity and they will instruct you what to do and where to go.. :)

ASC is on bottom floor right in front on Roxas. We got there when they opened.

There was a LONG line up to the guard. American Citizens just go to the guard and show your Passport and they let you right in.

Did for us anyway. Long time ago and things may have changed.

We got ours on the same day (holy wednesday).. It didn't take us longer than 10 minutes but you should be early as they have this till 11am cut off..

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

got mine 1-20-08, i'm thinking the hours for that paper were from 8-10. but the line is long outside so I would get online about 7ish...once ur in 30 minutes should cover it..
