Thanks to everyone who have answered any of my questions that I've posted. I'm somewhat new on here, so I have more questions to ask. Will everyone who filed after March 8 receive an RFE? Even if the female is the petitioner? Does it matter if you met each other in person or on the internet? Does anyone have any idea when they RFE's will be mailed to any of the other servicing centers? And one more...sorry about all of the questions. I've read a few responses about the processing dates going in order of when the RFE's are completed and mailed in. Is this true, or is it still based off the original NOA1 date? I'm sorry if these are all questions people have already answered. I've tried to read as many of the postings as possible, but there is just so much information! Thanks again for your help!

I'm starting to get a wee bit jealous of the VSC people who've gotten their RFE emails. Those SOBs better be going 24/7 on processing is all I have to say!!! ;)

yeah same here... siiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhhhhhhhhh...good for the vsc people though but CSC better get their butts on our RFE's...

Thanks to everyone who have answered any of my questions that I've posted. I'm somewhat new on here, so I have more questions to ask. Will everyone who filed after March 8 receive an RFE?

All those who got an NOA1 of March 6 or later will get one (eventually).

Even if the female is the petitioner?

Yes.

Does it matter if you met each other in person or on the internet?

It matters only if you used a marriage broker or the USC has applied for a K1 previously or has a serious criminal record.

Does anyone have any idea when they RFE's will be mailed to any of the other servicing centers?

The RFE's will come FROM the centers, and they have already started mailing them.

And one more...sorry about all of the questions. I've read a few responses about the processing dates going in order of when the RFE's are completed and mailed in. Is this true, or is it still based off the original NOA1 date?

It gets muddy here. In theory they will be processing and forwarding March petitions before April and so forth, but noone knows for sure.

Hello. Everyone who filed after march 6 will get an RFE because this was the day the IMBRA was supposedly implemented. i guess at this point it wont matter whether you have met personally or online or thru a marriage broker. i think that the new RFE's are not strictly for men only. based on the new I-129-F form i am assuming that the RFEs will cover questions on how you met, if you have used a marriage broker as well as any criminal history that you may have and the neccessary paperwork to support your claims. As for the order in which these RFEs are being sent out, apparently there is no specific order. all we know for now is that some people from vermont have already been notified that their RFE is on the way. some earlier, some later... I hope this helps answer your questions somehow.

Well well I finally got through to VSC on my 4th try! And yes my case is back with them, thank goodness. This is good news for the Russia people. She didn't have a timeline for when the RFE's would go out but she DID recommend filing an expedite request. And since we (the recalled) haven't heard anything I'm going to do that at the end of the week if I don't get an email from them and let you know how it goes.

They keep touching me, but nothing happens...

I am not a practicing attorney. I have a law degree and I passed the bar exam, but am not admitted to practice because I got a job in legal publishing and haven't gotten around to applying for my license yet. Publishing is great, but it does not make you qualified to give legal advice. So I don't. I just want to get married to my fella, which is why I'm here! If you need legal help, seek the advice of a licensed attorney.

What good would it be if every body filed an expedite request?

i'm wondering if we'll have to put a signature on the RFE letter?!

I know the answers to the questions, but the RFE will be sent to my home, and I wont be there to sign it in person??? do I have to wait until I get home or what?!!

Sorry if this is a dumb question----

When someone scans and posts the first RFE --- can I print and fill it out? With a NOA1 date of MAR 24; CSC will be another eon or two getting to me. I just thought I could have the RFE already filled and returned to them.

If am not mistaken, you have to send your RFE letter back, which has your name and case number, so you´ll have to wait for yours.
