Again, I'm a PETA member. And while I believe very strongly that cruelty to animals is wrong, I am no longer a vegetarian and I don't believe that they are our "evolutionary comrades." I think they are God's creatures and as such we have a responsibility to protect them but I wouldn't say they are our evolutionary comrades.

Ah stereotypes....
