I rented "Jumper" via Netflix - that was pretty horrible. I have 10,000 BC to watch too - which looks even worse...

Yeah 10,000 B.C. is really horrible. I shut it off.

See, a movie like that doesn't even remotely interest me....it just looks bad from the get go.

I was intrigued by the FX, but it wasn't enough.

It was like a throwback to the old caveman movies ...there was no real effort for accuracy.

Its the guys who did Independence Day - pretty much all of their movies stink like old socks.

Oh man...there's one film that's on my worst of the worst list. I couldn't believe people went to go see Independence Day in droves, although I remember reading that it was one of the most advertised movies ever.

I just found this...

Ten Most Historically Inaccurate Movies

http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/10mosthist...inaccurate.html

This is pretty interesting about Apocalypto (which I found entertaining but figured it wasn't very accurate when I saw all the humans being sacrificed)

"This one movie has given entire Anthropology departments migraines. Sure the Maya did have the odd human sacrifice but not to Kulkulkan, the Sun God, and only high-ranking captives taken in battle were killed. The conquistadors arriving at the end of the film made for unlikely saviors: an estimated 90% of indigenous American population was killed by smallpox from their infected livestock."

Intriguing! Braveheart and the Patriot also feature in my 'disliked' movies list. ;)

ok so this is not an unofficial RAZZIE AWARDS but jeffcloe's thread about "movies that made us cry" made me recall/think about some flick/s that bored, frustrated and made me laugh out of the sheer hilarity of it..this are my own personal choices and i hope i wont touch a sensitive nerve here..

Armageddon

Titanic

Pearl Harbor

Sylvester Stallone movies

Hudson Hawk

Chariots of Fire..some might like this one but should i say overrated?..

Any movie with Dan Aykroyd in it

Mr. Wrong (yup that one with Ellen De Generes)

The Last Emperor..cant seem to like this one..it won lots of oscars but this is not Bertollucci's best..

Pinocchio(Roberto Benigni)..waaaaaaaaa

Films directed by Michael Bay(armageddon/p harbor)

i can write about a hundred but these are the ones that i can think of..as of now...

Snakes on a Plane has to be the most lame movie in the whole world !

Oh yeah, and 300 sucked really bad too.

Yeah Apocalypto wasn’t terribly accurate – mainly because they lumped together all of the South American civilizations together, as well as borrowing liberally from all different periods in their history.

300 I would say is more inaccurate than all of those movies combined.

I quite liked Braveheart, but The Patriot was really awful.

After watching those movies a lot of people in Britain wondered whether Mel Gibson had some sort of grievance against the English...

don't you people ever go see a movie for the sheer enjoyment of it...?? lol... or do you like to pick apart every movie you see? ...lol

I do if the story is dramatic and compelling. If it doesn't work for me - I tend to find fault in other things.

 but my favorite movie line must be: "I am TIRED of these Mother EFFIN snakes on this Mother EFFIN plane."
