Hi Ella, thanks for the advice and you're right  that is why i had 2 biometrics appointment and on my first appointment they just got one of my fingerprint and i asked to a guy why they did not get my ten fingerprints and he answered me back "because its on the application"...i was confused because i've noticed some applicants getting their ten fingerprints...and its just cleared me yesterday in my 2nd appointment and the personnel explained me well.....(and you're right though its late when i read your message) i'm done for my biometric ten fingerprints  and now waiting for the AOS interview.

Tintin, is this appointment letter for biometrics or for AOS interview? If the latter, then your husband is required to attend. Bring all documents as specified in the appointment letter. Good luck!

i'm done with my biometrics on June 19, 2008 and for July 02, 2008 is for AOS. thank you

ASC appointment is for biometrics, you can go without your husband.

For AOS interview, "if your eligibility is based on your marriage, your husband or wife must come with you to the interview." (you can read that to your interview appointment letter).

Hi Walls, thanks for your reply...I am just confused because i'm done with my biometrics on June 19 and then i will have an appointment again on July 02...Both appointment letter i got were ASC. I filed I-765 EAD and I-485 separately....Does this mean that i will have my biometric fingerprints twice? On June 19, they just got only one of my fingerprint...and i asked with the personnel why only because i noticed that some taken their ten fingerprints

I also applied for my EAD and AOS separately. How come I didn't get any biometrics for my EAD?? My EAD app has been approved and I am just waiting for my card in the mail.

In some cases both set of fingerprints are scheduled at the same time even if you filed separately. Sometimes you file together and you get two sets at different times anyway. It's up to the local office to decide.

If you look at the top left of the ASC Appointment Notice, second line, it says "CASE TYPE". On my notice, the "case type" says "I485 I765".... so the one biometrics appointment covered both. Hence, I was not required to drive to Charlotte more than once

Look on your notice and see which applications are covered. Hope that helps!!
