Good morning,

Jomo's Girl, himher, Boaz, and Beautiful years - I posted an update "What Happens".

Basically - my divorce was finalized on September 11, 2008. My ex is still here in the states - calling me wanting me to forgive him and take him back (not).

The affividat of support was cancelled which like pushbrk had stated it killed the processing of his I485 - AOS. When they cancelled the affividat they sent a cancellation notice - and with it being in his name it was sent to his address to where he had relocated.

He called and was yelling why did you cancel my affidavit, blah, blah, blah. I told him I'm not your wife - we are divorced and you need to complete that process yourself. So he hung up - I figure he tried to complete the paperwork and when it came to needing the sponsor's taxes, employment letter (from sponsor's job) - he called my attorney and told her that I had his immigration paperwork. I told her no ma'am - the taxes are mine and he definitely would not be receiving a letter from my employer concerning my employment.

As far as myself - I doing great. I just received a really great promotion on my job. Despite all that he took me through - he tried to break me and he thought I would fall and crumble - but just like the song says "I Will Survive".

Thanks for checking in on me,

Pam
