You don't know where you lived in the last 10 years?

Never guess...find out and put as accurate of information as you can....

Don't forget, you also need police checks from places you have lived from those places as well...anything from 16 and up.

Well, technically you are only supposed to need background checks from countries you have lived in for 1 year or more. I guess the embassy can technically request a check from any country you have been in, but it isn't likely from what I understand. My fiance lived in different countries in Europe traveling for about a year and a half but never spend a full 12 months in any one country and we were freaking out thinking we needed the background checks from each country, but I emailed our embassy in El Salvador, where he will have the interview, and they said he won't need it unless he spent at least 12 months in one particualr country. Good luck!

I never said places you've visited...I said lived.

If you just visited a place, then no, you wouldn't need a police report.

If you lived in another country for a long period of time like Dave said, then yes..you need one.

Best of luck to you!

that's an impossible question for most europeans i think, crossing borders the whole time.

i was very happy to find out belgium doesnt require a DS-157 form...

i would check my passport for everything out of europe, everything else: get it a correct (and complete) as possible (checking picture albums and stuff). ther's no way anybody can find out when and where you've been, i cant imagine it matters...

good luck
