Hi Guys,

Im so sorry for the delay in my posting,..sadly after the Good news, i got sick.. i was onleave for 3 days.. im still sick though but i have to go back to work and take care of my resignation. BUt yeah, im to share my experience with my interview last JUne 23, 2008:

My mom and i woke up at 4 am.. My fiance was claling every 10 minutes just to make sure that im really awake coz im just so much of a sleepy head. but there , we got out of my dormitory at around 5:30 and was already raining. my mom and has only 1 umbrella.. i said it will be cool because there is a waiting shed, but when we got there at around quarter to 6, there are a lot of people already in the wiating shed.. (guys with interviews during june, july and so and so.. please make sure you have enough umbrella with you.. the weather is really unpredictable)

Glad to meet up our fellow Vj Sisters namely: mely, rely with pat and her son, ate sha with chin and jimmy and melanie from CDO (i know others werent able top come for their interview because of the bad weather..)

From the Moment we went in line, it was 6:45 and they ask for our appointment letter then ask us to go thru Gate 2 and at the right side, the Immigrant WIng of the EMbassy. we are asked to sit at the right side adjacent to the the powder room, and waited to be asked by the guard that we can get in line for the numbers already. I should be with relyn and mely's number s they got 7006 and 7007 number i got 7012 because i was so dumb i forgot to look over my forms and fill in the blanks that i should hav edone days before.. (hay) please learn fr0m my mistake hehehhe

so there, my name was called to got o window 33 for finger scanning, i stood there in line and waiting for things to happen. well, not to my surprise, we are asked to go back to our seats because the finger scanner had some trouble so, i got to my seat and waited to be called again.. I went to the powder room for a couple of minutes and when i got out, i saw my number flashed in the queing board to be in window16 i rushed then to window 16. Hmm he is a handsome guy who smiles a lot so my heart palpitations went to slow mo to normal. He asked for ther I-134, Birthcertificate, NBI Clearance, CENOMAR (if any) and pictures. i gave him a few. then he asked me only a battery of questions like he already memorized them (im sure he already did)he asked how young am i, when did i get to meet mike, he asked if my name is prounounced me-ka jo-may or my-ka jo-my i said the latter. and you can all me jomay i said then he looked at me and smiled.. i asked him if i can get a finger printing in his place becaus ei havent got mine yet. he said sure but he has some trouble with his scanner as well... so he asked window 14 if her scanner is ok, then he said "o okay daw, sige dun ka na dalidali" heheh then i did, i was asked to sit for while and wait for my number to be flashed on the board.

When it did, it was in WIndow 27, ate relyn was alredy sitting and waiting for her turn in window 30? if im not mistaken, mely was done by this time...I met with my CO who is an AMerican girl whose age ranges from 25-30 she smiled at me and asked for my name and my age and asked me to take an oath. when i did, she asked me the following questions:

When did you last seen your fiance? This past May

How many times did he travelled to the PI to see you? 4 times

HOw did i get to meet him? I met him thru m y aunt, they are colleagues

Did you asked youAUnt to look for a husband for you? (appalled) i said no politely, and told her how he went over my aunts desk and asked for my details since then.

Are they still colleagues? yes

What makes your fiance special? because he can keep up with afeisty and unpredicatable Filipina like me. (WIth a laugh)

Then she said, i dont see any problem with your application, you guys did well and i now approved your visa issuance, just take your seat again and wait for your name to be called so you can pay for the courrier.

I then heard my name called to be in Window 38 for the "PInk SLip" yehey and rushed to fill in the delbros detail sheet...

Went out with ate relyn and pat and finally meet my mom who was crying when she saw me with a smile hehehhe..

Good luck to all who's on que for the their interviews.. To God be the Glory..

By the way, i also Got my VISA TODAY.. yehey..
