Hi! My husband received the NOA2 in the mail but according to the USCIS website, my case is still pending. I read the guide for the I-129F in VJ. I understand that I need to have an entire replica of the I-129F and I-130, including the NOA1, NOA2 and money orders. But it doesn't say how do I go about setting up the interview. Do I call up the embassy with my USCIS case #, inquire if they have received my I129F? Moreover,

morever, I saw the list of routine vaccations at http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/pdf/ti_vacc.pdf and required vaccinations for my age group. I understand that I need to have my vaccinations prior to the medical. Omg.. the list is loooooooong. like around 14. :(( is this for real? Oh, my pediatrician is missing (my mom doesn't remember her name or which hospital was she in). Do I need to get my health records since birth? My mom doesn't remember which vaccinations I had... I'm beginning to think I'm adopted. hehehe.

That's an interesting document. I wonder if it applies to IR1/CR1 and K-3, or only IR1/CR1? It says "Immigrant Visa" I know K visas fall somewhere in between.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

I have read somewhere in this forum that not all vaccinations apply. They need to be taken according to the age. There are only 3 vaccinations that apply at our age (I forgot the names). Usually, these vaccinations can be taken during the medical exam. In medical exam, beneficiary will nevertheless pay the fees so he/she can take it during that time and save additional costs if taken beforehand. I have also read that beneficiary can take the vaccinations at a later point also - after entering US. Vaccinations must be taken before AOS interview.

Others - please feel free to correct or add to the info. above.

Thanks.

US Embassy in Manila will send you a letter stating when your interview will be. Until then, just make sure you have all your evidence ready and when the letter arrives, they will also send you about payment to Delbros (visa delivery fee and document verifcation).

Good luck.

Hi sayaram! You're right! I'm 23 years old and according to the document, I only require 3 vaccinations: Td/TDAP, MMR and HPV. =)

Abby-Ron and everyone reading this thread: I was just wondering if I should call NVC or USCIS to have them update their website regarding the status of my application, just in case the mail doesn't reach me. Sometimes the neighbor kids steal our mail. Of course, they've been reprimanded but I'm scared that they might prey on the mail from the US embassy. DOes anyone know the direct line to the USCIS where i can talk to a real person to update my status? I know it's posted to somewhere but I can't seem to find it..

THank you so much!
