got AON1! but fee not be charged

My notice date on NOA1 is 1st, May. they charged 20$ as penalty due to not correct fees on 3rd, May. Untill now, they not try to charge our fee again we have put enough money in on 4th, May. and not any FRE. We called 1-800.., they give another #, then called, it is automatic, no one answer, my bf left message. If anyone know any email address of CSC, then we can write them to cash our fee. For my understand, if they not cash your fee, they won't do anything on your case, right? I'd rather they send me a FRE or send all application back, then we will know what we do next. But now, no any news, case is not in right order, so strange. I hope you guys can give me some ideas.

I never heard of anything like that before. Maybe it's a new policy or something to charge you a penalty.

When we applied for my K1 our Money Order was returned because my fiance (now hubby) wrote it for VSC. We mailed the correct Money Order and got NOA1 in no time.

Are you sure you called the 1 (800) 375-5283 that's the National Customer Service Center? Check here for more info about the Customer Service Center

I had a similar experience with Vermont bu ####### was on the bank that I used. I waited about a month and the finally sent me the invoice for the correct amount plus an additional $30. Yes it is true that nothing gets done to you case while it ibeing waited on for payment. Don't worry pretty soon you will get some sort of response from your service center.

I don't know if they will treat it like how they did mine but I too was looking for a RFE but I did not get that or a return onmy petition -that was a good thing.
