Advice here on VJ

One tip to ponder for all:

If you listen to everything everyone says on VJ you could easily end up in the mental ward, so everyone please do as much research on your own. I think VJ is a good outlet to vent or share experiences, but for official advice-not so good in many cases. Hell, a lot of attorneys do not know how this works 100%

I know this is difficult for us all and a bit of advice to all the "tipsters" who don't know what they are talking about: PLEASE KEEP QUIET. Please, unless you know what you are talking about 100% and if you do not, state so. Thanks. You create a lot of grief for everyone who is still waiting/worrying about their approvals and loved ones and we all KNOW how easy it is for those of us waiting to make a mountain out of a mole-hill.

Thanks and good luck everyone.

Erika

People should remember that they are ultimately responsible for their own case....taking the word of someone on a forum without checking then double checking yourself is asking for trouble imo....And never PM someone with an immigration question, at least out in the open any wrong information can be corrected by others if picked up.

I have never encountered any problems with any of the advice I have recieved here on VJ. However I also know, if something sounds to good to be true, it probebly is.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I didn't take the advice here, but sometimes what one tells you is cause for worry until researched fully and that can take days or weeks. We newbies who are still learning the ropes get advice from the ones who have been there, done that and we tend to take it to heart until the truth is found. I don't think very many people here truly take the advice here without any research afterwards, but it is annoying to have to worry needlessly. Not only that, but I read others posts in various forums and it seems people aren't trying to because they don't even answer the question stated nor do they follow up when further questions are asked. I am only mentioning this because it is so easy to cause stress in this already stressful situation.

Thanks and good luck to all!

Yeah. This is the internet.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt
