Life without the possibility of parole would seem more reasonable to me.

I have been raped as a child and not only once.

I would not get any satisfaction out of that person being sentenced with death penality. Life sentence without parole would. Lock him away and let him think about what he did for whatever time he has left.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

In desi, "encounter" means that criminal is killed in police custody, but claim is made that he was killed in some other way.

An excellent and effective (if not ethical) strategy.

I was in North India when this technique was beginning to be widely applied. Hindu-Muslim riots, which were basically a cover for rival gangs to battle for land and money, pretty much died off once the UP police started doing that.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Yeah I've heard of people having untimely accidents in certain US prisons already... this would seriously not be that unexpected. The  was for Ms. Squirrel... this kind of Sh!t happens all too often.

I completely relate...as a child sexual abuse survivor myself. Unfortunately, my abuser never had to pay for his repeated crime as I never outed him. And now he's dead.

Parents, make sure you talk to your kids at a YOUNG age about sexual abuse. It MUST be done.

and one does not even have to look to know which justices are in the five vs. who the four are.

I guess one would need to look seeing as how 6 versus 3 of the Justices were appointed by a Republican president.

one might not need to look on today's ruling of the gun ban to know who the five vs four are...

Life in prison is justice enough

Is it?

Sure. Eye for an eye. The child didn't die, therefore the rapist must live.

Well, the child was raped. And the child wasn't physically prepared for that sort of thing.

So I'm imagining we rape child rapists.

But we do it with a giant machine that we invent for this purpose. If a little boy is taken advantage of by a man three times his size, well let's rape him with a machine three times his size.

That would be eye for an eye. Not this life-in-prison #######.

Fair enough. We rape him with a giant machine, then let him go, right?

What you first said is right. The second isn't enough unless you continue to do it to them for the rest of their life. Then, maybe they will get an idea of how it feels.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

If you're a child and naive and you have to choose between death and being buggered, which do you choose?

Is it really a choice?

And are you now gay?

Rape does NOT only happen to females. Nor does it only happen to guys in prison.

Rape in adolescence, at a time when one's sexuality is just beginning to blossom is a horrible thing.
