I don't think it is a big deal unless it looks like a "mail order bride" so to speak. Like if one person is 65 marrying a 20 year old. That may draw more scrutiny, but if it is a valid relationship, then I don't think there would be an issue.

im 21 he is 33 the only time it makes a difference is when he gets the im older so i know what im talking about attitude but that is very short lived

We also have a 12 year age difference. I (female) am older. I worry about this and feel that it would be the only reason we would be denied for a visa. I'm hoping it's not an issue, but one never knows.

We lived together for almost a year so I hope that eliminates any uncertainty the consulate may have.

Husband and I have big age difference but it never gets in the way nor affects the relationship as a couple. We get along perfectly and we really don't think about our ages. We have so many things in common and I guess that's what helps for our marriage to work wonderfully.

I'm also 7 years older than my husband and nobody has ever said anything about it, including our families, our friends and even the people at the embassy. It's so normal now days that nobody even thinks about it.

im 27 and she is 22, but keeps telling me that she is still 21 and doesn't intend to get older, so looks like our age difference will "increase" each year
