K3 Visa Interview Manila

Hello,

My wife had her Visa Interview at the U.S. Embassy in Manila on Monday 6/23/08. There seemed to be no problems during the interview. She recieved a paper saying WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US:WE MUST REVIEW YOUR CASE BEFORE IT CAN BE PROCESSED FURTHER PLS WAIT FOR A LETTER FROM US TELLING YOU CAN RETURN TO THE EMBASSY WITH THE DOCUMENTS MARKED ABOVE FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT.

There are no other blocks checked and no documents are "Marked".

Can anyone tell me what this really means? Is this routine?

Is there a telephone number or WEBSITE for DELRBOS to verify receipt of all the fees? (please give complete number from the U.S)

Is there a telephone number at the Embassy that we should be calling to verify the Visa approval?

Should I be worried?????

Notes:

-She was directed to pay the 250p DELBROS fee and she did so before leaving

-She paid the 650p DELBROS document verification fee one week in advance. She send and received the txt message required and she faxed the Metro Bank Receipt as instructed?

I Have the same case with your wife. I was interviewed last July 18 and havent heard from Delbros nor the embassy ever since. I have a theory about whats happening. After the NVC forwarded the papers to the embassy, the embassy failed to act on it. Meaning even after we payed delbros, they still havent subjected the papers for verification. Or Delbros failed to let them know that the applicant already paid the Verification fee. That verification process is causing the delay of the release of our Visas.

I tried calling the embassy but they are hard to contact. But you should try to contact them as well, maybe you'll be lucky.

The number is 3012000 local 5184, look for Grace ( I think).

most likely, the embassy's just waiting for the result of doc verification.

it happened to me too.... and i was so sad/depressed, yet at the same time, i kept on ranting coz i missed my flight!

the angels probably saw how heartsick i was coz i was really desperate to see my husband again, and directed the delbros people to work on my case pronto!

my visa was delivered 2 weeks after the interview

Same thing happening to LOTS of people. One week in advance doesn't seem to be enough. Looks like it takes at least 3 weeks. Some didn't have success even then.

Sucks but you guys [along with plenty others] will have to wait another week or 2.

Delbros had enuf problems trying to deliver packets and visas. Add DV and they are in deep "da kine"!

hi there.... your wife and i have the same situation... my interview date was aug 5, 2008 and i also recieved a paper saying WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US:WE MUST REVIEW YOUR CASE BEFORE IT CAN BE PROCESSED FURTHER PLS WAIT FOR A LETTER FROM US TELLING YOU CAN RETURN TO THE EMBASSY WITH THE DOCUMENTS MARKED ABOVE FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, but there are no documents marked.. i still didnt get my visa its almost 3 weeks, how about your wife? did she get her visa?
