It has been almost 2 months now since NOA1 for us, it was mine and my fiance`s idea to prepare all the print outs and then just print later on the new ones... so whenever we receive our NOA2 we will just be preparing the forms and other stuffs.

I have a couple of questions here: any inputs will be appreciated.

1. I am trying to save on ink (hehe) is that ok if I just use black and white for print screen shots? Would that matter? I am thinking it will not really matter but I just want to make sure. I want to print some in colored like the phonecall logs (since it will be just less than 30 pages) but I want to print our messages direct from the website where we first met online in black and white...

2. I am trying to print in black and white and I have already change the printer settings to BLACK INK ONLY but I still got colored print-outs. I am lost on this one.

Thanks....

Cloe :)

yeah thanks hehehe that's what I thought... :D

But I hope someone could help me how to print web page print preview in black and white... I have changed the printer settings already and it is still printing in colored... I have notice that the texts that used to be blue have already changed to black, but the advertisement and so are still in colored, which makes me sad because that's a waste of colored ink because it's not important to print them just so happen they were already there and I can't do anything about those stuffs. And to think that I have to print them over and over with different messages...

Chris-lei is right. I doesn't matter whether it is black and white or colored. What is important is that they can see your evidences. I met someone in embassy during my interview and her photos are in short bond paper and it wasn't colored. you will be ok. Have faith. God bless.

Blessings,

Pauljoy

I am just curious, is it really needed to print all the chat logs or I could just choose random dates for each month? I mean we talk everyday for 5 to 6 hours or more during his days off. So I could not imagine the bunch of papers I will carry if I would print all of it..

I am just curious, is it really needed to print all the chat logs or I could just choose random dates for each month?

If chat logs are like e-mail records, the prevailing advice on VJ seems to be to print overall logs (no content, but just dates + message titles, etc.), and to add some representative printouts of actual messages, as you suggest. (Overly personal information can be edited with a black marker.)

I had only e-mail (not chat), and my screen-shots wouldn't capture every message, so I provided one screen-shot of my e-mailbox (to show the total number of messages) and then hand-formatted every message date & subject line into a list, which I then printed out.

Your embassy seems to be sensible, so what you suggest should suffice. Be thankful that you're not elsewhere, where you could bring an 18-wheeler full of evidence that wouldn't be looked at, and you'd be told to go home for having "not enough evidence." Then, when you showed up again on their orders with the same evidence plus more, you'd be told to go home for having "too much evidence for us to look at." It would be a luxury to have to fret about whether to print stuff in color or B&W.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Based on what I have been reading here on VJ, what I did are screen shots of overall chat logs and screen shots of our actual conversation (5 pages per month with different dates including the screen shots of our web cam)... Plus I will be bringing some extras I think. Same thing with the emails.

I have another questions about evidences, We only started using oovoo to call my fiance` in the US last May 2008 until July (free service), we tried to pay to be able to continue using the service but we encounter problem paying online with the credit card. We are now looking at skype (which is an inexpensive way to call US and Philippines) but we just want to make sure if we can print call history with skype...
