I find it ironic that the thread claims importance, then it is only a person gossiping about gossip.

I'll replace "gossip" with "idle chat" and I would ignore the not so nice phrasing of the original statement.. the question that has been posted would thus simply read: Is idle chat important?

My answer would be, YES it is important, since it somehow help keep our sanily intact while we go through this agonizing waiting game away from our love ones AND it also fosters online camaraderie.

To others: Let us just forgive the OP, maybe he was trying to find some info and he was having a hard time weeding out our "idle chat threads" from the visa related threads and maybe it just so happen that he was already having a bad day to begin with. As Riza have said there is no need for us to stir more issues and I want to add that there is also no need to keep stirring the old issue.

To the OP: we all have our bad day, you can vent your frustrations here but pls try not to bash other people. As for finding the "more helpful threads", I suggest you try bookmarking any thread that you find helpful so you could easily get back to it when you need to without having to dig 10-20 pages back just to find it.

What I did before was create a folder and subfolders in my bookmark: i had manila embassy folder (which was also a subfolder of visa info folder) with subfolders: affidavit of support, interview questions, documents needed, document verification, delbros, etc.

I'm using firefox, i just saved my visa info folder in my "bookmarks toolbar folder" so if I needed to get one info, it is fairly easy to find even if it has been buried 20-30pages in the forum. And if I could not find any answer, I just post a question here and a lot of helpful souls have always been more than willing to help out. I hope this could help you even a little.

Good luck in your journey and may you find peace always. (F)

God bless everyone.

It requires less character to discover the faults of others than is does to tolerate them.
