True, but most of people in THIS sub forum don't use statements like " noticed that most of the thread here is just a ####### it is like gossiping !!! is it???? and " is it true filipina like gossip very much??? " .

The people at the Philippines subforum are very helpful to everyone. Just ask a question. Don't attack a culture.

i'm quite certain that when i first joined vj, i didn't have a timeline yet i didn't wait more than 30 minutes before posting.

it's the posts by the individual, not their join date or their lack of a timeline, that may indicate a person is a troll. if a troll is suspected, send a pm to one of the mods.

I don't think this a a troll. I respect that others might feel it is... back when I was going thru the process, when someone posted in the Manila Interview Embassy Thread who appeared to be a troll, we would just ignore it, and it went away... If you feel it is a troll, do not respond. then this thread will fade into the sunset, disappearing into the back pages of the forum...

To be honest. I am actually getting irritated with the number of threads that some mod is moving from the Philippines subforum. This is after all a community of people with a shared culture and a shared experience. But someone is going through and moving arrival announcements, baby announcements and such that maybe the people in here are interested in keeping up on. But since they are being moved, they are being lost by those who don't visit 5 different segments of the forum. The posters here gladly and joyfully answer all of the serious questions and requests for help that are posted, but also share friendships and a community spirit that is important for those moving so far from where they have always been. Random attacks from faceless non-entities who think that the annonymity of the internet gives them the right to make blanket attacks, and over moderating a discussion group to make it fit into some persons notion of controlled and proper are ways to kill that spirit of traveling together in a dificult journey. It's easy enough to ignore all of the annoyances, but really are they necessary in this life?

Please ignore the OP, unless they are asking for something useful. And Mods, please stop trying so hard to "clean up" the Philippines subforum, some of what you are doing is fracturing the family feeling that exists.

I feel sorry for his "wife". Such a poorly written post in English indicates either a lack of education if the OP's primary language is English or that the OP's primary language is NOT English.

I suspect it is the latter case which leads me to believe that the OP is a troll and looking to stir up some sh!t as another poster has previously mentioned.

maybe u just dnt understand the culture so like u think we're all just gossiping here..

and also most posts that ur referrin to are in tagalog so like maybe u dnt understand them and think they all gossips.. :rofl:

I don't understand why this thread has offended so many people here? I look at it like this, if you are not the one on here gossiping then just let what he says just roll off your back. Only the ones on here that truly gossip are the ones I see that truly have the problem with his post. But this is a "general discussion area" so you can talk about anything here but to be honest so of the topics pure nonsense. Just because I do not post here very often I am sure that I will get called a troll just because I am going against the grain of the Philippine Forum, oh well but just like I said earlier that will just roll off my back. just my 2 cents

I just want to clarify something here. Mods are not moving your threads. Organizers are. I can count on one hand (AND have fingers left over) the amount of times I've visited this forum.

As a general rule anything that is Philippines specific should normally stay in the Philippines forum. Anything pertaining to the initial K-1, K-3, CR-1, AOS process or Removing of Conditions applications would ordinarily be moved to the forums covering those issues.

Baby announcements, general chit-chat or Philippine specific medical questions (or consulate specific) should remain in this regional forum.

You get the idea.

Should you see something that has been moved, and you think it should remain in the Philippine forum, then PM me and I'll look into it.
