The two main reasons the visa's are denied is.

1. Lack of proof of bonifid relationship

2. Lack of proof of support

If you are self employed or cannot produce tax returns for previous 3 years of income according to the proverty limits by uscis.og then by all means get your banks statements in order for your fiance or wife. My wife saw so many girls turned away because the sponsor did not provide them with their proof of income or evidence of a genuine relationship.

I think as long as your fiance's income is above poverty line (which is shown on ITR, W2, & Employment Cert.) they no longer bother to ask bank statements. During my interview they didn't ask me of it because Ryan's income is sufficient enough to support me.

Good luck dear

Form I-134 Affidavit of support needs to be notarized, your paystub, w-2 and company letter (mentioned how much you make) is all good to go if they're over the poverty line, else, visa will be denied. I saw many girls turn away during interview because of financial support is innsufficient. you don't need income tax returned if you make good money. I don't provide them, they never ask for it.

Along with this, an ongoing evidence of relationship is sufficient enough (all those that mentioned in the guidelines). Good luck!!!

If you want, you can bring income tax return during your interview, along with recent paystub, although they rarely ask for it, but on the Embassy form, a checklist of what to bring for interview, they mentioned you MUST bring income tax return, recent paystub, or w-2, etc.

hi there!

Well, in my case they asked for ITR (I only gave the 2007), W2's 2007,2006,2005; I-134 affidavit of support and the letter of employment thats only it. I got the pay stub's and bank account with me but they didnt asked for me. I asked the prescreener if they need it but the lady told me thats the only thing they need from me. But just to be prepared bring this with you also. As long as your fiance is earning above poverty guidelines theres no problem.

Some other questions here:)

1) What's the difference between ITR and W2s?

2) My fiance requested for ITRs from IRS last April 1, and he kept on calling them every two weeks, and they said they sent it already but we havent received anything yet. The guy from IRS said they can just fax it to my fiance , and that can be honored. Is that true?

3) Where else can he get ITRs and W2s?

4) My fiance told me that worse comes to worst, he will call the book keeper and ask copies of ITR there, but that's a copy of unfiled ITRs (copies of ITRs before it is filed), will that be honored?

5) Is there a payment to be forwarded to IRS for copies of ITRs?

Thanks.

If I remember right W2s are the paystubs wherein itemized ang monthly salary for the whole year. Ang nakalagay sa ITR yong annual salary (including ang overtime pay) and income tax na binayaran.

I think Ryan had his original ITRs kaya original yong pinadala nya sa akin. I can't really answer the rest of the questions. Hope someone will address it.
