I can't believe what I just did!

I just realized that one of the address blocks on my G-325A was incorrect. I've ALWAYS switched my most recent address around from "3710" to "1370" because I'm dyslexic or something; I just can't believe I even did it on my G-325A. Everything else was in order - I triple-checked it all, but for some reason, this time around I felt confident that this address WAS correct. I just realized that it wasn't after looking at the address on an old envelope. I'm in shock.

Wow! I feel totally awful. You'd think after 10 months of living somewhere you'd finally remember your own street address. I feel like a complete moron.

I REALLY hope this single error doesn't raise any red flags or cause an RFE considering how meticulous (or perhaps, NOT meticulous enough?! :( ) I was with the whole package.

What address appeared on your I-129F, personal check and cover letter?

The address at which I currently reside. The address which I mistyped on the G-325A was an old one I occupied within the last 5 years.

Then it's quite likely they'll just use the address on the I-129F. Are you saying the only difference in the addresses was the order of the street numbers? Same street, city and State?

Exactly. I just mistyped the street number of one of the old addresses on my G-325A (the street name, apartment, city, and State were all correct). I just realized that the numbers of that address were incorrect, after looking at some old mail from that address - I only lived there for about 7 months and often mixed up the numbers just about every time I told someone my address. Do you think this is enough to warrant an RFE? I mean, if they were checking databases (or whatever it is they do) and it came up that I did indeed occupy an apartment, but not with this correct street #?

I take it for granted that the case adjudicator will be quick enough to realize that I simply mixed up the numbers of a street (due to a shoddy memory) of an old address while filling out the G-325A, rather than an intentional fib.

It certainly isn't critical. If you get an RFE for it, just correct it but I wouldn't worry about it.

Well, I hope so. It'd certainly be an annoying reason to get an RFE considering how thorough I was otherwise (even went so far as to have my Commanding Officer draft a letter - as well as military leave documents - as evidence of my having met/visited/known my fiance). But I guess we'll just wait and see. Thanks for the reassurance nevertheless! :)

This is an old address, correct??? Not your current residence? I don't think you have to worry too much. Try to breathe! ;)

my fiance he had a mistake too in writting his add,,,instead 876 he wrote 808 in G-325A......but its ok its doesnt cause RFE..

People have received RFE's for not filling in a simple box and have had entire packets returned because the address on their check didn't match their current residence. Depends on the adjuticator I suppose.

Yes, an old address.

Trying to breathe as well. It's just hard knowing how stringent some adjudicators seem to be! (After reading around the forums!).

I don't think you'll have a problem mixing up a couple numbers on an old address. I've not heard of that and honestly, if they scrutinize that much I think we're all in trouble!!! ;)

We probably all had this stage of initial panic when first sending off the petition. I remember going over it a dozen times before it was sent and then I was too afraid to even look at it after I sent it off for fear I had made a mistake and...well.. wouldn't be able to breathe! ;)

It's out of your hands now. Think positive. :)

I think you'll be ok. Most USCIS workers will correct it for you providing that you have the correct one in I-129F. I typed my fiancee DOB incorrect on form G-325A and they fixed it for me. In other countries, Date was first, followed by Month and Year. In USA, Month first, followed by date and year. So I typed in the reverse order on G-325A and USCIS knew by looking at my I-129F and engagement letter with the correct DOB on it.
