The fees you are referring to are for IR-1 and CR-1 immigrant visas.

K-1 passes through NVC with NO fees or paperwork needed.

K-1 will pay $131 or equivalent RMB to CTIC bank near the consulate in Guangzhou shortly before visa interview.

I-864 for K-1 is needed much later after entry on K-1, marriage, and is used when adjusting status after marriage.

K-1 uses I-134 at the visa interview.

Hi everyone,

Our NOA2 approved and sent to NVC, what is next?

When do I have to send DS-3032?

Does NVC sends anything to me?

When do I send AOS(I-864)?

Do I have to wait until NVC send me something to pay $70?

I'm kind of confuse.

Thanks.

A further step to take -

1. Your fiance(e) will do his/her part now(package3 and package4), including paying for medical

exam, vaccination, x-ray, and interview fees, police report, and filling 3 other forms (DS-156,

DS-156K, DS-230, part I), etc. USEmbassy at foreign countries will provide these information

to your fiance(e). http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1forms

2. You will need to send him/her (fiance(e) the following:

a. two exact copies of the entire I-129F package you make or send to USCIS,

b. all evidences of an ongoing relationship from the time you filed this package up-to-date.

c. a copy of your NOA2 (original copy USCIS mailed to you)

Nothing from NVC, except they will mail you your hardcopy of NOA2 (I-797) which you need to send to your fiance(e). All others will be mailed at later time, closer to an interview timeframe (recent paystub, income tax return), etc. GOOD LUCK!!

Also, I am assuming you did file form I-134 already with your I-129F package, if not you'll have to do it now.

I-134 is always required at the visa interview, NEVER is it required or included with the initial I-129F filing.

NOTE: Once a petition leaves NVC, it gets warehoused by the consulate for 3 months or so before they "receive" it, and then they send out P3, only things needed to be returned from P3, is OF-169, and DS-230 part 1, there is plenty of time to take care of getting Police Cert, Birth Cert, and Mariagibility Cert from the Notarial office.

It is best to arrive in Guangzhou a few days before the interview to pay the fee, and get medical done, medicals can be done at other locations near the US consulates, but should have P4 forms handy when going to the medical.
