hi i was just wondering how much it has cost everyone to be with the one they love!

My partner and i where looking to send out the I-129F for our k1 visa application in october and then for me to vist the usa for thanksgiving and christmas!

Obviously i will have to pay for my self while i stay for a long period! and without being able to work and having no more income while im away.

we would like to have an idea of how much we need to save and if i can afford to do the visa and visit for such a long time!

thank you

colin

example of costs we need to know... forms, interview costs medicals AOS, Advance aparole, EAD big things like these! not little costs like photcopies :)

( i heard that you can send AOS EAD and AP in one packet with one cost ... is this true??)

The fee varies greatly depending which civil surgeon/part of the country you are in. We paid $15 plus the cost of getting one vaccination that was not given at the medical abroad. That is on the low end of the national average.

You include this form form the civil surgeon in teh AOS packet.

Where does ur fiancee live in the States? Check out civil surgeon list in http://www.powervisa.com/attorney/civil-surgeon-locator/

I went to Dr. Torres in Oregon and I wasn't charged for the transfer. I had to get another vaccination though (Chicken POX) and it was priced at 95 bucks.
