As our timeline shows, our AOS application was filed last January but until now no update yet, whether we will have an interview or not for the green card. We already received the EAD and now getting frustrated with the remaining process. Our last "touch" in the USCIS website was January 18, the time they sent us a notice that they received our 485. We are getting frustrated. I am not sure about the other January filers, but this is our predicament.

Back when we filed AOS, it was nearly 10 months before my husband was approved. I know it's frustrating, but at least she's here with you now. I hope your wife gets her approval soon. :)

Hehehe ok, so I know I am not helping by saying it was 22 months from application to approval for me . . . patience is definitely a virtue in this game! Good luck on getting your approval soon.

I waited 8 months, without touches, or even the slightest brushing.

After the 5th month of nothing, I just stopped worrying and obsessing. It made my life much more agreeable, and I just sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the "flight".

I suggest you do the same, if at all possible.

Hey Mitch, nice to see you here. Im sure you miss Jen a lot. Well, Joe threw her in the pool, not me, hehehe, he does that to everybody, Lyn was the first VJ victim, lol. Hope we can get together again soon. We did go fishing one time with Steve and Lyn, and are in seeing Perj and RJ a lot because they are the nearest to us. A newly arrived Filipina( also a VJ member) in Inverness would also like to join the club, hehehe. And, we are already godmothers (Ninang) to your baby :)

Anyhow, to all those who replied, thanks for the encouragement. Its just that Ive read a lot of February AOS filers here with the same service center who are already getting their greencards and without the "touches" , we are worried our petition is buried deep in USCIS files. I also dont have plans to visit the Philippines until next year so I guess the waiting isn't so bad. At least I already have my EAD and hopefully will find a job soon after Joe's operation.

Nice advertisement Mitch, hehehehe.

Thanks everyone.

Myla
