How long does NVC reviews documents? (Automated says 6-8 th weeks)

For my case it took 3 business days (from DS230 entered into the system to case completed).

I've seen cases taking from 2 days to 2 weeks to be completed, it really depends...and some times when there's an RFE it can't take even longer.

I think ours went case complete after 2 weeks. I think the AVR says 6-8 weeks so id there are any RFEs, they are looking better with their completion times. I would say from watching people here on VJ that it averages 2-4 weeks. Some shorter...some longer

2008 01 22 : NOA1

2008 04 11 : NOA2 (I-130 Approved)

NVC

2008 04 21 : NVC received & case# generated

2008 05 12 : I-864 Package entered into system by NVC

2008 05 13 : DS 3032 Accepted (Spouse - Received e-mail confirmation)

2008 05 23 : DS 230 Entered into system by NVC

2008 06 02 : Case Complete

2008 06 12 : Case Forwarded (Embassy - Lima, Peru)

2008 06 20 : Appt Letter received

EMBASSY - LIMA

2008 06 26 : Medical Exam - 9 AM (Picked up results 07/01)

2008 07 03 : Interview - 10 AM (DENIED - RENIEC ENDOREMENT MISSING)

2008 07 07 : Submit RENIEC Endoresed Marriage Cert.

2008 07 10 : Passport & Visa (Pick-up at DHL Facility - Lima)

POE

2008 07 15 : San Francisco (midnight)

2008 08 19 : SSC Received (Had to re-file at SSA Office)

2008 08 04 : I-551 Received

2008 08 26 : Permanent Employment (HR Asst. Int'l Firm)

thank u guys...

have recieved my rfe ..need police report from the philippines..i have submitted one from germany, i am resident and german citizen since 1985. NO, NVC says, i need to get one from the Philippines. It doesnt make sense, but i must get one..
