My now wife came here on a K-1 and brought her daughter as well, now we are adjusting status and I am wondering which documents need to be done on both.

Example: Will I need to do a travel I-131 for both mother and Daughter?

How about the

G-325a

485

I-864-support

any insight that might be helpful when adjusting status for a mother and child will be very helpful/

The ability for the child to ride on mommy's coattails are over.... Each applicant needs to submit there own COMPLETE set of applications. What I mean is that you cannot incorporate documents or evidence submitted with mommy's application with the child's application. Each application stands alone. This is also the situation for the I-131 or I-765 as well.

YMMV

Please ensure you file for EAD for the child too so they can get an SS number.

The K-2 AOS application should be filed concurrent (in the same box/envelope) as the K-1 AOS application. The K-1 fee is $1010, and the K-2 (if under 14 years of age) is $600 (when filed concurrently with the K-1 application). These fees include EAD (EAD is required for the minor child so they are eligible for a SSN regardless of their age) and AP.

You do need two completed sets of forms, though the I-864 can be a photocopy of the original submitted with the K-1 AOS application.
