If I made like 100k or over a year, I wouldn't be here on VJ. That time will come soon, maybe in two years or so.

A 100k job isn't what it used to be. Check out theladders.com, you'll be surprised at how many ordinary jobs pay six figures these days.

she isn't working for other people's company she is working for her own..gosh people read!!!!!!

Her husband pays her the salary, so isn't she working for him?

Interesting...What are the chances.

Chances are excellent. I know people who have found work through that site.

Of course, understand this - since it's relatively easy to get 100k for anyone with a decent skillset, it stands to reason 100k doesn't mean much anymore either.

You're suggesting that everyone should aim for more. I should.

Why wouldn't you aim for more? What reason is there to aim for less?

The 'bonus' must be where the 'stress sponge' skills come in to play :jest:

I mean no offense, but I am wondering about people quitting their jobs because their husbands ask them to. Is it to have kids or is it a cultural thing?

Just curious, not passing judgment.

for me, I quit my job coz I need to :) to come here in the US to be with my eternal love... but i will still continue my previous job  and my husband supports me.. I am web/graphic designer, i see here in US, it pays more than i earned from other country before.. :star:

Yes, what is mine is hers. I am hers (unless I'm watching TV). But... I am not her. Do you see the difference?
