K-3 almost approved

Hello friends,

Please forgive me for asking the same questions....but I just want to make sure I am completely up to speed.

My daughter and I are having our medical this afternoon, and our K-3 interview at the consulate this comming monday.

My husband received in the mail today the cr1 IV bill fee in which it requests that he pays $400-00 to continue on the cr1 route. He also received the letter that requests the I-864 supporting documents to continue the process.....

Am I correct now if I understand that this process is for Affidavit of Support and not Adjustment of Status and eventually to obtain a cr1 visa.....

but what is the use to continue on this path if God willing our K-3 will be approved on Monday......

Please help. I don't want my husband to spend the money if it is useless......

No use at all really, especially if it is only for you and not your daughter. I take it no I-130 was filed for your daughter, so unless you want to leave her behind for a year or so, you'll need to arrive on K3 and K4 visas, then adjust status. Your husband can simply ignore the mail from NVC about your I-130.
