It's my second "St-Jean" or Quebec's National day away from Quebec tomorrow :( I wish I could see some flags around....

Oh well :)

Je savais pas que tu faisais aussi dans les sacres :lol: En fait j'ai jamais ete capable de comprendre ton histoire d'immigration (qq chose avec tes parents) et d'ou tu viens exactement :P Je pas le temps de suivre toutes les histoires et je suis melee a la fin :hehe:

AOS: Mailed V-Day; received February 15th, 2007 – phew!

I-485 application transferred to CSC – March 12th, 2008

Travel/Work approval notices via email – April 23rd, 2008

Green card/residency card: email notice of approval – August 28th, 2008 yippeeeee!!!

Funny-looking card arrives – September 6th, 2008 :)

Mailed request to remove conditions – July 7, 2010

Landed permanent resident approved – August 23rd, 2010

Second funny looking card arrives – August 31st, 2010

Yeah the moment I felt it the most was when we were on the road, about to get on the Ontario 401....and we passed that sign:

Vous quittez le Québec. A la prochaine!

:( I cried for a good 20 min

I bought a few Québec flags when i went to Montreal last month! :D

Don't feel so bad, you are in the land of Jolliet, Marquette and LaSalle. :thumbs: I understand that there were a few less tollways in those days though. :lol:
