My attorney says I have my noa 1. I'm not sure I believe it. I have a case number, is that my noa1?

The NOA1 lists your case number. If you have your case number, then your attorney does have your NOA1.

Good luck with your NOA2.

Wait...I just checked your timeline. Did you mean your NOA2?? Your timeline shows that you received your NOA1 in February.

You will not get case number unless your application is approved. I therefore conclude that what your lawyer has is the NOA2. Your case number is given by NVC. It's a special number specifically assigned to you for the entire process of your application.

I believe I only have the NOA 1. I have a wac number and the only update in my usic is the original receipt of the original application.

If I was you, I would get a copy of it. You would definitely know then. It sounds like the NOA2. :)

zolta, you could confirm if it is an NOA2 with a call to USCIS and use the wac number.
