Do you wear perfume to go to the gym?

I was wondering - do you actually wear one of those things to protect your *ahem* crown jewels? Might be helpful, especially if one of the guys tries to feel you up, you know? After all, rugby is a contact sport.

na.. i don't... if they wanna play dirty, it's easier to kick u on the shins or the head while in the scrum.. or hit you with an elbow in the ribs while you're rucking... and.. no they haven't tried to feel me up lololol

I go to the gym at 6 a.m. So, no, I don't put on perfume first. The conditioner I use in my hair does smell good, or so I've been told.

It's funny you brought this up.....yesterday, I was out walking at lunch time and these two women walked by me. I was on the phone with my husband and I said, damn, they must've taken a bath in their perfumes. I could smell both of them. And, that was at lunch time. Can you imagine how much they had to put on that morning for me to still be able to smell the perfume on a hot day?

I do, because I leave the house every day after showering and putting on perfume. But by the time I go to the gym I'm sure it doesn't smell it anymore.

I totally understand what you're saying about people exagerating on their perfume and going to the gym with sexy clothes and full make-up. It's mostly because they consider it a place to flirt, or they're just slutty.

As for cleaning the equipment I have to confess I don't always do it, not because I'm lazy or anything, it's because I do circuits and I can't take my time to do that, I have to move between equipment very fast. But I'm not one of those super sweaty people that leaves the equipment all wet, so no big deal.

When I was working there I would always clean the equipment because I had to set an example

I like the fact I work out at a military base gym, because there is a dress code, you can't wear slutty clothes, and most people here are married, so you will never see people flirting.

I wear loose sweaty pants, sporty bra and t-shirt. My tennis shoes looks new and are always clean, mostly because I don't wear them outside, I change at the gym.

There is a girl at a gym I used to go to that worked out not only with full makeup but body glitter as well.

I am all about people cleaning the machines, but some people start scrubbing them down with loads of chemicals it's a little OTT. I have actually been sprayed by the disinfectant by someone going a little too overboard. It's more annoying than perfume.
