I can think of one term that I use for smelly people that I will just not mention in here when it comes to other cultures.

guess i have an idea.. i worked with some stinky people for more than 2 years.. worst thing is that the smell will stay inside my office room (they will enter to ask for something then left me with such a horrifying smell!!!!)... so i asked few of them out of curiosity.. they said that in their culture you do not really "fit in" if you're not smelly... yaiiikkkkssss....

key word is ventilation. I don't care how 'good' someone smells...there's only so much of their smell that I can take.

I rather smell someone's perspiration than cologne or perfume. If someone who has fairly good hygiene (takes at least one shower a day) gets that smelly from just sweating...they've got something wrong with them.

I agree. Perfume or cologne smell is worse in the gym than stinky armpits. I don't much like the smell of any perfume or cologne unless it's very faint...and if someone is on a machine next to you, they have perfume on, and you can smell it, they have too much on....aaack. This isn't to say that stinky armpits aren't aaack too.

Stinky armpits, especially in a woman, is disgusting. But come to think of it isn't BO considered attractive in some cultures?

oh that's the worst! this girl did that the other night when she was doing the back extensions and I almost collapsed with laughter. I'm so horrible and immature when it comes to body noises. They all make me laugh.

another thing that bugs me is when people don't clean their sweat off of equipment. ughhhhh. I have enough of my own sweat thank you.

Yeah. I carry a towel around with me and put it on the equipment so that I don´t get it dirty or so that I don´t clean off someone else´s dirties yikes Not everybody in my gym does it but a lot of people do

Make up (foundation, powder, eye liner, eye shadow and lipstick) and lots of jewelery combined with a really heavy perfume, wearing dressy sneakers insetad of "ugly" running shoes and little pink sweat pants with Juicy Couture written across the bum. Gotta love those hardcore sporty chicks.
