So after the long process of K1, i am finally in america and am getting married july 3rd (just under 2 weeks yey!!).

However i have started looking at the AOS process and i do not have anything about my vaccination record (when i went for my medical in london, they didnt accept my drs hand writting list of my vaccinations, and they never gave me anything, they said i didnt need the vaccinatioons record and so i didn't give it another thought. But now i see i need a I-693/DS-3025.

I have since gotten a documented copy of my vaccinations form dr in the uk. Do i know need to go to a civil surgeon and get the form i need and any vaccinations required??? Also my i-94 expires 11th july, so should i get it before i apply for the AOS or wait for an RFE and then worry about it.

They certainly make it long hard process to be with the one you love, hope the all appreciate what we go through for them lol

thanks for any help

Michelle

Do i now need to go to a civil surgeon and get the form i need and any vaccinations required??? That works

Also my i-94 expires 11th july, so should i get it before i apply for the AOS or wait for an RFE and then worry about it. It is a personal choice as people have done either scenario. FYI, there is no mandate to file the I-485 before I-94 expiry

Michelle,

This thread has helped me immensely. I'm awaiting my visa package from the US embassy at the moment. But now see, as a result of your questions, that I need to ensure I have the medical forms necessary.

When I had the medical in London I was given a sheet of paper with vaccinations I needed and another sheet. I'm now going to check what I have and what I need. Better to sort this out before leaving for the US.

By the way, congrats! Your K1 Journey is over and you're now with your honey. I haven't see mine fiance for 10months. Oh, well....With a bit of luck, and millions of forms later, we'll be getting married in October.
