Hi everyone,

We just attended my wife's K-3 interview in Bogota and her visa was approved without the slightest problem. I will be posting a full, detailed review in the Foreign Embassies forum as soon as I get a chance. I will update this thread when that is posted.

I wanted to thank everyone that helped with advice and support throughout the process. The community here at VJ was an immeasurable help and we are grateful to you all.

Good luck to those going through the process. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about the Bogota K-3 process in particular or other general K-3 questions.

I-130 held by USCIS for future AOS

7/27/2007 - Sent I-129F Package to TSC*

7/30/2007 - Received by TSC

8/30/2007 - NOA-1 - Fee waived

3/19/2008 - NOA2

4/3/2008 - Received by NVC

4/10/2008 - Received by embassy

4/11/2008 - Faxed packet 3 forms to embassy

4/30/2008 - Appointment date assigned

6/19/2008 - Appointment at Bogota Embassy - APPROVED!!!

No touches except when I called CSC directly to inquire.

8/28/2008 - POE Houston

Still being lazy and waiting to do AOS.

*I-130 and I-129F sent together to TSC per USCIS instructions.

09-05-2008- AOS Fee Bill and DS-3032 Generated

09-06-2008- E-mailed DS-3032 to NVC

09-11-2008- Received Hardcopy of DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill

09-15-2008- Mailed Hardcopy of DS-3032

09-16-2008- Paid $70 AOS fee online

09-17-2008- Received E-mail confirming the DS-3032 Agent
