If you filed these forms simultaneously you would probably get NOA2 after one to two months that's when there's no questions or problem with your applications... So goodluck hope your will get your NOA2 ASAP...

Hi Heather,

As you'll see from our timeline, it was 8 mos. between NOA1 and approval (NOA2). I hope this will not be the case for you guys. We may have been slowed down a bit because we got a request for further evidence due to incorrect picture size. I did write to my congress person after it had been 6 mos, and would advise you to do the same if you have not heard anything by then.

I really don't know if calling helps, but I did call USCIS regularly and sometimes touches seemed to correspond with when I called. But there were a lot of times I called, and nothing ever happened, and that can be all the more frustrating. I know the waiting is hard....hang in there and best of luck.

Our 1-129f has arrived at the National Visa Center, (thank God) and we are waiting for it to be sent to Cairo. Then I'll send my husband some more paperwork (copy of I-130 and I-129f application, affidavidt of support, and I'm not sure what else). Send me a message sometime and we can figure out a time to chat. I know this is an emotional, loopy experience--the highs and the lows and the not-knowing, like a rollercoaster, can make you feel pretty helpless at times.
