yes because that's exactly how I feel. you are so smart!

I'm all for helping people but only if they're willing to help themselves. Feeling you're entitled to all this free stuff and then causing havoc in the people's lives that pay for your "free stuff" is not cool at all.

Its like i told amby, i never knew what "ghetto" or "section 8" was until i was 15 and my parents decided not to live on military bases anymore. I cant wait til edi is in the Coast Guard and we get stationed so i can get back on a Military base.

does the coast guard even have a military base? :unsure:

I know in some areas they appropriate closed bases and use the housing for personnel. Nice, too.

Dude, sell your house and move now. You think the prices are bad now? Just wait and see what happens when you have Section 8 housing down the street from you.

Are you familiar with RCA's? They're agreements between Jersey towns allowing one Jersey town to "sell" its affordable housing obligations to another town. They're the primary reason "ghettos" like New Brunswick (for example) have money to redevelop/rehabilitate (gentrify); NB gets cash infusions by surrounding suburbs and in exchange they build affordable units which the surrounding burbs don't have to.

Well that's changing. Corzine and our legislature have decided RCA's are bad because they cause affordable units to be concentrated in less desirable towns. Basking Ridge, for example, has very little affordable housing. Once RCA's are gone, there will be no town in this state where one can go to be "far away" from affordable housing.

So I don't think the impact on prices will happen. It'll be the same just about everywhere.

Its just like when i gave a homeless man a chalupa from taco bell...bc he had a sign "hungry...anything helps" and he yelled at me for 5 mins over giving him the food and not the money. Then a week later he was in the news for breaking into 4 homes bc he sd he was hungry.

Dude...cmon

Theres a shelter actually 3 of them in this city that will feed and house homeless ppl...all he had to do was go there for food.

I dont help ppl anymore, the world has become too ungreatful

one of the other things I noticed is the main grocery store is starting to stock a lot more of the "value" type products. you know the ones that are even cheaper than the store brand. before they never had that.

We have a lot of dollar stores that have popped up in the last two years.
