I got my interview letter yesterday and my interview is only 2 short months away.

I am going to print out the flashcards from the USCIS website and start studying soon. I am NOT a good test-taker, but I'm sure I'll do just fine.

My biggest concern is the list of items they have asked me to bring to the interview. It's EVERYTHING I've ever had to submit since the very beginning when I started the K-1 Visa process. Is all that really necessary?

Wish me luck!!!!! I'm almost DONE, DONE, DONE!!!!!

What flashcards and where can I find it? Would you be kind enough to share with me the links? I just want to see it now and start studying. Thanks and good luck on your naturalization interview. You are indeed, almost done! YAY!

The very top thread in this section, http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=311 gives you a very good starting point.

More direct is the actual USCIS site at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis, there you will see a link, Learn about US Citizenship in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Downloading M-476, A Guide to Naturalization (1227KB PDF) tells you exactly what you are required to send.

This USCIS site let's you download all the learning materials for free:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00048f3d6a1RCRD

You will find your flash cards there, but you have to supply the color printer, index card, scissors, and paste. But if you do a google search, will find many companies offering the same material at rather expensive prices, ha, everyone is trying to make an easy buck.

This is all general information, but specific questions may get specific answers. One thing you really have to send is a check for 675 bucks, don't forget that.

Congratulations and good luck! Hey, you may even be able to vote in this upcoming election!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thank you for these links... I know I still have a long way to go before Naturalization but I believe it's best that I start studying for it.
