Has anyone had any NOA2 from VSC for their k3???

That's the million dollar question! Better yet, has anyone who filed in 2007 for a K3 heard anything?

Wish there were some news, but unfortunately not. That's why people like me and others hang around here hoping to share any information we find.

Best of luck to all!

On the USCIS website, they post processing dates for the service centers about the 15th of every month. Currently for VSC they are showing December 18, 2007 as the cases that have been completed date for I-129F.

Does anyone know what this date means?

Is it approval dates for cases that were forwarded to NVC? Or is it dates where visas have actually been approved and given to the beneficiary at the embassy?

I'm pretty much telling my wife to shoot for January 1, 2009 as the date she will have her visa. If it happens sooner, than it's a bonus. Was hoping to get her here in the fall, but looking at K-3s in Vermont, doesn't look like that is going to happen. Still pretty annoyed by the disparity between CSC and VSC, but I don't want to open that can of worms again.

To add to that, I guess I should be grateful that I got my NOA1 for the I-130 in 10 days, instead of 3 months like a lot of people.

Diddo on that...

I see you filed the I129f in Feb. I filed ours in April and still figuring Christmas.

I see your I-129f was touched a month +- after the NOA1.

Ours was just touched a month laster as well.

I'm assuming this means they actually did some

looking into the files and getting somewhere.

There were two documented approvals for 1-129F during the last week and one for 1-130. The cases were from Dec 2007. I also filed in Dec 2007 and received touches on my 1-130 and 1-129F petitions on the 19th of June. I am hoping for an approval this week. I think VSC is definitely starting to process the petitions but just at a very slow rate. Sit tight and I am sure you'll see an approval, soon!

Birch,

I noticed you are Thailand as well. This is a pretty good link for packet 3 and 4 info from the embassy in BKK, if you don't have it already.

Has anyone had any NOA2 from VSC for their k3???

I guess we have the same situation, my husband n I also waiting for our Noa2 up to now. its frustrating, lately i just have 2 vj friends here who got thier approval already, wondering why they got approvals ahead of us when they filed later than us. Can u tell what are the basis of the USCIS?

Probably your friends got expedited?

I find that so many people have "expedite" reasons: lucky for them (or perhaps no: if they get granted an expedite approval, it may mean they SERIOUSLY need it for some life/death situation).

For the rest of us without a military spouse or any life/death situation, wait and hope.
