Here is the response from the Embassy today for all those going through the Cairo Embassy.........

Ahmed's visa was issued on the 17th of June.

Now it will be printed this week and mailed by DHL within 10 days.

That could potentiallly be another 3 weeks.

I wonder how some can get their visa within a week or two when ours just seems to deliberately drag on and on and on......like somebody is against us!! Why does it take a week from issuing to be printed and then another 10 days to mail it?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Dear Madam,

The visa is not yet printed. It should be printed this week. It takes around 10 days after printing to be delivered by DHL.

No, I do not believe it will drag on. You may want to get the receipt number and track it via DHL.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

i know its hard to wait when ur this close but u guys been thru so much ur on the last of it now just try to take a deep breath and let it out slowly and smile ur almost there :)

It took us 16 days to receive our visa once it was printed. I know its hard to hear another week or two but you are almost there. Just think soon, he will have it in hand and you will be finished with Cairo!

We can't track it because it has been archived.

It doesn't show anymore........... :crying:

I tried that and they said to call the DHL in Egypt.

Anyway, Ahmed is going to try and call them there.

But when I talked to the lady at DHL, she said it would show on the website again,

once it is scanned.
