I'm about half way done packing now...Just have some stuff to do (I have to refinish a headboard of a bed) and some other junk.

I can't believe it's almost here....where did the last 7 months go??? Time flies when you really think about it...

A little late to the party...sorry.

A huge congrats Laura and Nick.

Yes, yes, all VJers seem to show up completely prepare and blow the doors off the place.

I still cringe whenever I hear or see the words "advanced parole".

I simply call them "my travel papers".

Congrats Laura and Nick! Loved your review. Everything looked eerily familiar (except when I was there we were crawling over 6 foot snowbanks).

I was disappointed that on Canada Post my tracking number of my visa isn't in the system.... :(

I wanted them to mail out my visa on Friday dammit! :angry: LOL

I'm quite late as well, but CONGRATULATIONS Laura! :)

It took them quite awhile for tracking to show up for us too. Our interview was on a Monday and I didn't see it in their system until Friday or Saturday, I can't remember which, and then it came the next Monday. So they could have sent it out and it's not showing yet for some reason. I know how you feel though; everything is more waiting, this whole process! But it's all good. Congrats again. :D

Thanks for the detailed post. Before you know it you'll be crossing into the states, finally gettting to start your life there with the man of your dreams.

I can only imagine what that's like. My man and I are far from that point, but I can't wait!! I'm sure I'll be asking you soooo many questions on how to file the right way...so don't leave us ok!? lol.

Again, congrats, you deserve this.
