maybe sheep was the wrong word but it definitely conveyed my feelings on the subject ... personally, i will not say 'congratulations' to someone unless i really mean it and they deserve it. i don't feel it was warranted in this situation especially after his past behavior.

but that's me ... it's been done with others on this board before as well ... certain people have been downright rude, nasty, hateful, etc ... but once good news gets posted, people are quick to line up to offer their 'congrats'. it's almost like keeping up with the joneses ... 'look at me, i said 'congrats' too, i'm a good person'.

my insults are not veiled ... if i intend to insult you: you'll know it! frankly, that's not my style, i like to keep it more cerebral. this is me ... i don't hide behind my computer .... WYSIWYG!!

aham, if you didnt feel the need to congrats someone, thats fine, thats you, but why come on and insult or critisize others for doing so? Isnt it up to the other individuals to post what they want without you becoming the post police? I mean, who are you to judge what others are doing on here? I dont remember anyone needing to ask if they can post anything.

Well, that's cause we are therapists brother dean!! I hate when my client will "mince words" for 40 minutes and in the last FIVE MINUTES come out with the "real" issue..and then we're out of time. Straight shooters are right up my alley I suppose!!!

great question ... i believe in calling a spade a spade. and since this is a public forum that allows 'individuals to post what they want' ... that also affords me the same privilege!

karo ... i think that's a MAJOR reason why you, dean, and i post and generally agree with each other most of the time. psychology plays a major part!

sometimes it takes 45 minutes of rambling before you are ready to admit to yourself what the real issue even is why the hell do they even need a therapist if thigns were that clear to them?
