Why Do I Love To Cook?

I love to make people happy and amazingly enough nothing can put a big satisfied smile on someones face after a good hearty meal. That's why I love to cook.

Early days yet. Give it another week or so and keep an eye when you get your cheque cashed.

It took 2 weeks for us to receive our NOA1 hard copy.

Did you send it return receipt requested? Did you use a personal check? If they have cashed your check then they have received your file. You can get your EAC number from the back of the check and login to the uscis.gov website to track your petition.

As William said, it's still early in the game so no need to worry just yet. Vermont seems to be taking it's time with this step these days.

congratulations on getting started and wishing you patience for the process.

Actually, the processing timeline for the NOA1 is 2 weeks so don't worry you're not in 2 weeks yet. Maybe it's on it's way. So cheer up!

 very true...

And some people even waited longer... So cheer up, this is just the start of a very long journey...

Keep smiling!

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

I was checking member timelines and saw that another member that filed at VSC on 6/9/2008 received their NOA1 on 6/27/08. Their country of immigration is Thailand but I don't think that would make a difference. Let's hope your NOA1 is right behind.....and our NOA1 is right behind your's. I haven't watched the mailbox this much since I was 7 years old waiting for my Sea Monkeys to arrive. Good Luck to us all!
