Hi, my wife's petition is now approved at NVC, but they said we will have to wait for an interview date becuse July is full.

Does anyone know if you can pay the Delbros fee before they send it to the Embass in the Philppines?

Is there anyone else who got approved at NVC recently and have to wait n hope for a August interview date? I am confused becuse i always read on VJ that you call the Manila Embassy to set up your interview date?

Thanks again for any help:-)

That's for K visas.

CR/IR are set by NVC!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Hi, my case is CR-1 as well, done with the interview last June 12. No, in our case we will not set or call for interview, there will be a letter/notice from NVC regarding interview date, but before the interview date, one other process is that the NVC will request for "evidences" like Marriage contract authenticated by the NSO or authority of the country you was married in, original birth certificates, police certs and lots more....

TO give you an idea this was my timeline

Feb 5, 2007= got married in the Philippines

3rd week of Feb 2007= husband did the filling

Nov 6,2007= Approval of the case

April 2008=NVC requested "evidences" (see complete list from travel.state.gov)

June 1, 20008= receive letter from NVC about interview sched and completing medical test from St.Luke's Clinic at Bocobo, Manila

June 6, 2008= completed medical test (medical shall be accomplish a week before the interview

June 12, 2008= interview date/paid DELBROS/paid document verification(Php650), some pay DELBROS and doc verification prior to the interview and medical test date.

To date, I'm waiting for my passport with VISA hopefully.
