We're another gamer couple. World of Warcraft this time. I'm always amazed at how many couples I've met on my server that met playing the game. I'm often tempted send Blizzard flowers.

I don't think my parents really knew what to think about me dating a guy I met online. I didn't tell them until after I'd met him in person. They warmed up to him very quickly.

He supported me during my mother's final months of having cancer. The first time he came down to visit, he spent lots of time with her. She was painful to look at, barely more than skin and bones. Despite this, when Dad and I went to work, he'd sit on the bed next to Mom and chat with her all day. He was able to keep her spirits up and mine too. You just don't let a guy like that get away.

I play World of Warcraft but I'm too busy making fun of the nerds to meet anyone. I'm quitting when the expansion comes out in November, which is (with luck) when my fiancee will arrive. I'd rather "gank" my fiancee (gamers will understand).

I hear you. We play a lot less when I'm visiting. There are definitely more interesting things to do.

We plan to keep playing though. WoW is one of many fun hobbies we have in common.
