I enjoy repelling. I also like to go climbing and then do cliff jumps into water. Fun times. Actually going repelling tomorrow with my uncles.

I knew if I said that someone would find it hilarious.

glad to be of service :)

I love mead  Wish it were easier to find...

Do you have Ethiopian Restaurants in the area? If so, you can go there and ask for Taj. Good stuff.

Is that mead? I don't know of any Ethiopian restaurants around here, but I wouldn't be surprised if we did have one. I did find one mead brand at our local BevMo, but that's all I've seen locally.

Spelunking is one of my all-time favorite words. I would never actually partake in spelunking because I'm afraid of the dark and claustrophobic, but I like to say the word. "What did you do this weekend?" "Why I was spelunking, you?"

Have you seen that horror movie - The Descent?

<<shudder>>

Yes, Fcuking scary in places but, as you said, the ending was sh!te.

I don't drink beer unless...no there's no reason I would drink beer

I like beer. But I prefer mead.

And even more than that I prefer chocolate martinis.....

I love mead  Wish it were easier to find...

Oliver Winery in Indiana does a good Mead. I hate it but I've heard other people praise it. :D

Great. My gayness is spreading. Pretty soon every VJ member will be saying yummy and turn gay.

I wonder if instead of "platinum member" my VJ title could read Yumminess Member

Doesn't take me much either. Actually, it doesn't take Patrick much either. He's not a very stereotypical German :)

I have had more to drink in the last year whilst awaiting the K1 than ever before I think. And I spent the better part of my childhood and early adulthood in New Orleans....

...and you use the word 'whilst'??? That doesn't sound Creole to me. :jest:

Yes, but I had to take elocution classes ... we were told by a prof in grad school that it wouldn't matter how smart we were or how many degrees we had; as Southern females we would be seen by some as "incompetent" as soon as we opened our mouths and spoke!!!!

PS I also use "behoove" My students love it!

Well, we've been slowly stockpiling mead and bringing it from Germany a few bottles at a time (so much cheaper there). But I found these two here in the states:

HAH! All traces of Southern are gone..until I get angry. My students (and kids) know they're in trouble when "Ms. P's just brought on the Southern" as they say.

Like my new title, Steven?

I love the word "behoove" as well.

I actually used it during a collections call: "Actually sir, it would behoove you to get your payments in on time, so you wouldn't have to talk to me anymore". Cracked my friend up in the next cubicle. He started to keep a list of words that "normal people don't use in real life but Cheryl does" -- it got to be fairly long

Scott - I don't where you are in the OC, but if you are in LA there are a few good ones serving YUMMY food on Fairfax between Pico and San Vicente.

I did not know Taj and Mead were the same. Learn something new every day.
