Yes, look at our timeline.

They only updated on-line once after sending the NOA1 and then after sending the NOA2.

Other than that there was not info sent to us in any manner.

Our K1 online file still hasn't been updated with NOA2 approval info and I'm already in the States, so sometimes, it's not updated at all.

Well that's encouraging!!!!! NOT!!!! :lol:

January 11, 2007 - 'touched'

January 17, 2007 - transferred to CSC

January 19, 2007 - biometrics appointment

January 22, 2007 - 'touched'

January 23, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

January 24, 2007 - 'touched'

January 31, 2007 - 'AOS touched'

February 1, 2007 - GREEN CARD ORDERED!!!

February 5, 2007 - Received Welcome Letter

February 11, 2007 - received GREEN CARD!!

Some people get approved without ever getting "touched", but it seems lately there are a lot more "touches" going on before either approval or RFE.

K-1 Timeline

11-29-05: Mailed I-129F Petition to CSC

12-06-05: NOA1

03-02-06: NOA2

03-23-06: Interview Date May 16

05-17-06: K-1 Visa Issued

05-20-06: Arrived at POE, Honolulu

07-17-06: Married

AOS Timeline

08-14-06: Mailed I-485 to Chicago

08-24-06: NOA for I-485

09-08-06: Biometrics Appointment

09-25-06: I-485 transferred to CSC

09-28-06: I-485 received at CSC

10-18-06: AOS Approved

10-21-06: Approval notice mailed

10-23-06: Received "Welcome Letter"

10-27-06: Received 2 yr Green Card

I-751 Timeline

07-21-08: Mailed I-751 to VSC

07-25-08: NOA for I-751

we were never "touched" and got our noa2 88 days after sending it in.

some people are touched-others aren't...............it makes no sense :blink:

We didn't have any "touches" either and I was in the same position as you where I was getting frustrated because I was checking 2 times a day. When I finally gave up and was only checking every 2-3 days I was very happy the day I got home from a terrible day at work and decided to check expecting it to show not changed and when it said APPROVED it sure did change my day around :)

And I did a VJ timeline search as well and it looks like 60-65 days is the expected time for Nebraska.

Relax and find something else to keep your mind busy. The time really does go by fast.

08-05-06 - Married in Sycamore IL

AOS / EAD
08-24-06 - AOS/EAD mail to Chicago (Day 1)
11-06-06 - GC & Welcome Letter arrive in Mail (Day 75)

I-751
09-23-08 - Sent Package via USPS (Day 1)
01-02-09 - Received GC in mail (with wrong Resident Since date) (Day 101)

I'm confused by people who are touched during the process and those who are not. I know it is supposed to indicate that somone has actually touched/worked on/picked up a piece of paper and moved it in regard to your file. But do some service centers just never post updates to the USCIS online site and never send emails? I'm tired of checking everyday and seeing nothing. I'm not all that far into the game - NOA was April 4 through Nebraska. Should I just stop checking during the process and hope/wait for an NOA2 in the mail maybe end of next month?

Yeah, Our NOA1 was April 1st, and I'm going through NSC as well. Stil no touches though.

I kept seeing people's cases bing touched, and wondering why mines hasn't been touched since they cashed the check. I now only check when I see a bunch of "we got approved!!!" and "we got NOA2!!!!" posts.

Hard to be patient though...
