We finally received the interview letter today in the mail. I was really starting to wonder, because nothing had transpired for months. We are grateful to God, and to this forum for all the help we have received with my wife's visa-journey.

If anyone has any thoughts and suggestion about preparations, anything you might think of that might make this appointment go smoothly please take a moment to share them. Kind regards!!!

Awesome.. Congrats! My husband and I have our interview on July 22nd in Atlanta... when is your interview?

I am From Alabama, our interview was in atlanta oct 16, 2007.

Our names was called and we proceeded to the door and the guy that was going to interview us ask my husband his name and then ask him is this your lawyer. My husband replied no thats my wife. That was really funny. He swore us in then he asked for our driver's license, last years tax return and my husband passport. He ask my husband all the yes or no question and asked me nothing.

Told us that we was only supposed to be in his office for 10 min but of course my husband couldnt shut his mouth.

This guy was very nice he didnt ask for but the 3 things I indicated above but I think it was only b/c we had filed AOS in 2004.

Be prepared, relaxed and honest. Everything will be fine.

I was one of the lucky ones who didn't need an interview to be approved, my son on the other hand, I'm still waiting the decision on his GC. Hopefully he won't need an interview seeing he is only 4 years old. So the only thing I can tell you to do is arrive early. Traffic can get real bad going into Atlanta. Depending on what time your appointment is, be there at least 20-30 minutes early. Remeber before you leave your house to double check you have everything you need for your interview. Relax when you get there and be honest with the interviewer. Good luck!

October 2006 - I-129F sent

10/24/2007 - INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!....APPROVED!!

10/30/2007 - Visa in hand!

AOS Timeline:

1/30/08 - Sent AOS pkg Priority Mail with USPS

3/12/08 - Biometrics taken

3/29/08 - EAD and AP in hand for me and my son

5/21/08 - Email-GC on its way!...RFE for my son's application

5/27/08 - GC arrives!!!

7/02/08 - Sons GC arrives!!!

ROC TIMELINE

3/23/10 - ROC sent!

3/29/10 - NOA1

4/22/10 - Biometrics Appt for me and my son

6/30/10 - Email saying card production ordered for me and my son

7/6/10 - Letter in the mail saying cards will arrive within 60 days

7/10/10 - Both cards received!
