If I remember rightly he moved to some sort of restricted planning community where you have to sign some paper saying that you won't alter the "character" of the area.

He had a beef with his neighbours who were protesting his *right* to build a japanese garden in his front lawn.

neighbor from hell...remember that story very well and was praying at that time, i don't get a neighbor like that

I only remember because there was a quite heated discussion about what happens when you enter into a legal contract. He seemed to be of the view that once he had the deeds and moved into the house that he didn't need to worry about any of that $hit.

Personally I wouldn't like to live somewhere where I had an ongoing to dispute with my neighbours - having to put up with dirty looks whenever I go out of the house.
