Im in PI now, went to US embassy interview Wednesday June 18. Interview process itself was fairly painless except when it came to the document verification.

We payed Delbros on May 16, 2008, and on June 16 while i was in Manila I called Delbros and they verify that the documents were ready to be sent to US embassy, but the USEM has not yet sent any request to Delbros.

I called USEM and spoke with Grace and she verified for some reason that the USEM had not yet sent request to Delbros. This is what it pisses me off. The interview had been scheduled for 6 or 7 weeks, I wish the USEM would pull their head out of their ### and request documents as soon as the interview is scheduled.

Question: Why doesn't the USEM verify the documentation before scheduling an interview?

Answer: Because it would be too easy!!

USEM/ Delbros/ Document verification is a pain in the ###, and the system needs to be fixed.

I spoke to US Consular and he said that the hold up of document verification is the CENOMAR, eventhough he held a copy of NSO CENOMAR in his hand, he told me it will take 3-6 weeks to get a document verification from Philippine Government stating that my fiance had never been married before.

Me myself experienced delayed docs verification until my asawa kept on calling USEM to follow up,but it was all delbros fault..You will wait for 2 weeks if you're sure it has been sent already to NSO and if theres no problem with your verification...Lengthen ur patient, its not beyond our control..Keep praying it really help alot...Goodluck to both of you and God bless!! I just got my visa today after 1 month of waiting....So soon u will have yours...

YES I AGREE, IT IS A SCREWED UP MESS FROM THE TOP. WE WAITED ABOUT SEVEN MONTHS FOR NOA 2. RECD. A RFE FROM THE NVC FOR DOCUMENTS THAT HAD BEEN SENT TO USCIS ONLY A MONTH BEFORE. HAD TO INVOLVE CONGRESSMAN TO EVEN GET NOA2. AFTER CONGRESSIONAL IT ONLY TOOK THREE DAYS FOR USCIS TO APPROVE OUR APPLICATION.

AFTER A YEAR WE HAVE A APPOINTMENT DATE. BUT, AS TOU MIGHT HAVE GUESSED WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER MONTH AND A HALF FOR THAT! THEN WHEN WE GET THE INTERVIEW WE WILL BE WAITING AGAIN FOR THE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION, EVEN THOUGH IT WILL HAVE BEEN PAID FOR MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME.

AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, THIS WHOLE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE TRASHED, AND ANOTHER WELL DEVISED PLAN PUT INTO PLACE. THE SYSTEM WE HAVE NOW IS BEYOND REPAIR. ONE OF THE MAIN PROBLEMS IS WHEN A PART IS NO LONGER EFFECTIVE, THAT PART IS NOT DELETED. INSTEAD THEY ADD ANOTHER STEP TO THE PROSCESS. THIS ONLY ADDS TO THE OVERALL PROBLEM AND MAKES THINGS MORE DIFFICULT.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY CASES HAVE BEEN REFUSED DUE TO DOCUMENT VERIFICATION. I SUSPECT THAT THE NUMBER IS NEAR ZERO. HOWEVER, THIS STEP ADDS REVENUE TO ANOTHER OF THE GOVERNMENTS INTRESTS.

WHY CAN'T THE DOCUMENT VERIFICATION BE DONE AS SOON AS A CASE NUMBER IS ASSIGNED?

IT WOULD REQUIRE A LITTLE ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AND PREPLANNING IS NOT THEIR CONCERN.

Sorry to hear this. Almost same scenario happened to a lot here. Was told by Delbros that they already forwarded request to NSO, then later on will be told that it's not yet. It's in fact in "delbros incompetency and inconsistency", because USEM won't send any request letter for document verification for such particular name unless delbros will inform the USEM that such payment has been made by particular person.

If Delbros don't inform USEM that you paid the document verification USEM won't send any request letter to Delbros to be forwarded to NSO.

It's not enough that Delbros only confirmed your payment. The Most Important part for this is that "Delbros should inform USEM about the person's advance payment in that way USEM will make request of document verification to be sent to Delbros and Delbros will forward it to NSO".

It's Delbros malfunction system.

It sucks, the entire system of getting a Visa is flawed. If an employer wants to get a worker, they can be approved by the USCIS in 15 days! Yet, if somebody is in LOVE and wants to get MARRIED, we have to wait 6 months? The whole system is ridiculous.

delbroS website for tracking your passport, is already up and running..i emailed

them yesterday and today..( sql error) , i got frustated thinking i will get

good news today and still no new status (june 10--shipment process in the embassy)

=(..my husband was just lucky to squeeze infos from richard from NSO, and said that

my docs were already sent to usem from processing ( in my understanding, the

results has been turned in to USEM, since the pickup for the results is only done

every friday and personally pick up by the agents of the embassy. Im keeping my fingers crossed.. because lorraine who is not so helpful when i called yesterday morning said, just wait for further instructions, if we lack docs we will

call you..and im also left hanging because she told me last week inspite of me passing my docs (white slip) during the interview with the releasing officer, they cannot have it reviewed by the officer who interviewed me not until the results

of doc verification has been turned in..so if one does not rotate (doc verification)

my other docs will not be reviewed.. **OH GOD, IM GETTING REALLY FRUSTATED**
