Well after much deliberating and nail biting I had my AOS interview on 17th June in Yakima

It was quite a simple affair with relatively little needed.

We were sworn in...asked the usual questions ( have you ever been deported from US, have you ever been a prostitute etc etc ). Then he asked for evidence of co habitation...bills etc ...provided what we had. He then asked how we met, confirmed where we got married, and confirmed I had one daughter. He had the huge file in front of him for reference and after removing the thingy in the passport said he would approve the petition. He did ask for 2 passport photo's and we didnt have them - maybe i missed that one becuase i didnt know we would need more...he explained that we could get them and if we wanted bring them back to him that day or we could post them to the address. We opted to go get them done at the post office and returned with them.

Today I received an email advising card production had been order and to allow 30 days.

So now i wait for the postman!

Good luck to everyone waiting - whatever stage your at.

Firstly...thanks for all your kind words....to answer your questions in order:

My daughter didnt actually come with me to USA as she had a job in UK that she really loved and was quite settled in UK ( she was 21 by the time i got married) so she wasnt even a part of the AOS process but i can say that the notice when they sent it to me giving me the details of the interview do state what to bring and who must come with you at the interview.

As for the AOS package ...I actually tackled that by treating each application individually - so I beleive I sent in 2 passport style photo's for the EAD and 2 for the AOS....I didnt bother with the AP.

I was somewhat suprised at the request for the extra pictures at the interview becuase i thought I had covered them all...but even more suprised that they also wanted 2 passport pictures of my husband!
